Yes. Bulk data import supports CSV and Excel (.xlsx). It also supports Word (.docx) data files using the first table, where the first row contains column headings and subsequent rows contain records. Older Excel .xls files are not supported; save them as .xlsx or CSV.
The current extension processes selected files locally in the browser and stores its working data in local Chrome extension storage. It does not send the documents to a developer-operated document-processing server. See the Privacy Policy.
They are stored in the Chrome profile where the extension is installed. They are not automatically synchronised between different browsers or devices. Use the extension's backup feature to export a copy and keep it somewhere secure.
Word output is available. Depending on the source and conversion path, the document may preserve the page as an image or reconstruct selectable text approximately. Exact PDF positioning, tables, signatures, logos, images and scanned content are not guaranteed to become individually editable Word elements.
Include your Chrome version, extension version, the type of template or data file, the steps that caused the issue and the exact error message. Do not send confidential source documents unless necessary and appropriately redacted.
